BIOGRAPHY

Luca Princiotta is the Clairvoyants’ guitarist, famous Italian Heavy Metal band , and he’s the guitarist/keyboarder of the Hard Rock band DORO, leaded by the German singer Doro Pesch.

He’s also played for three years with Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden singer, and he has collaborated with several international artists like Andre Matos (ex Angra), Jorn Lande (ex Malmsteen), Chris Caffery (Savatage), Dennis Stratton (ex Iron Maiden), just to mention few.

His touring has taken him all over the world, playing in the most importat international cities like New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Moscow, Madrid, Sant Paul, Buenos Aires, Beijing, Rome, and many more.



Luca Princiotta was born in Como on the 12 July 1982. From ’90 untill ’92 he took piano lessons. When he was 10 he started playing classic guitar attending the first lessons at Seddio music school in Lugano (Switzerland).

One year later the passion grew up and he moved to electric guitar studying, for about 5 years, as autodidact.

In 1998 he entered at Sound Check music school in Como (Italy) studying for two years with teacher Stefano Di Fonzo, learning harmony’s knowledges and starting to get Jazz and Blues languages.

In ’99 he took part of the festival-seminary “Mister Jazz” in Ravenna to deepen his music instructions: three days of full-immersion with the famouse guitar player Scott Henderson.

From 2001 to 2003 he studied at the civic school of Como “Nerolidio” attending professional courses, following guitar lessons with Beppe Pini, theory and solfeggio with Antonio Cervellino and played music with Alberto Viganò.

Between 2004 and 2006 he studied with the Jazz player Alessio Menconi.

In September 2007 he decided to enter in the Accademy Music School “CPM” in Milan, getting the diploma the next year.
